Curiosity is the driving force behind my work. I immerse myself in the subject matter of my clients— be it high tech or healthcare, fashion or financial services.

For the past 15 years, I’ve helped clients as diverse as Intel, Gap, and Kaiser Permanente educate and entertain through film. I bring my own unique visual style to each project I direct, while simultaneously staying attuned to my clients' existing brand identity and personality.

When directing actors, I often use improvisation, a method I honed during the years I performed with Bay Area Theater Sports. I used this technique to great effect in my own film, Approved, which I produced and directed in 2004. This dark comedy about identity theft screened at a number of festivals across the country.

In addition to working with professional actors, I’m also hired to direct senior-level managers acting in corporate video. My improv background enables me to help executives deliver their lines like pros and find their comedic voices.

Nurturing an idea from the written page into a living, breathing production is incredibly gratifying. The joy I have for my work comes through in every project I direct.
